The International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization of more than 4,000 members at all judicial levels in more than 102 nations. Since forming in 1991, the IAWJ has united women judges from diverse legal-judicial systems who share a commitment to equal justice and the rule of law.

Mission
Rebuilding Justice Systems, based on the rule of law and the protection of human rights.
As a consortium with a broad membership base involved in technical legal assistance programs, the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) hopes to contribute to a better coordination by providing objective assessments and recommendations accepted by both local and international actors.
